I assume you are talking about CVSweb (aka http://cvs.winehq.org/). If you want to download a file, use the command line cvs client. I am not comfortable giving apache or the cvsweb.cgi write privileges to the CVS tree. On Sun, 2004-01-18 at 21:55, Tom wrote:

Check, whether there exists a directory /home/wine/CVSROOT and the script has write-Access to the CVSROOT/history if it exists. It needs to place lock-files in the directory the file is in as well.
