No need, I subscribed to a bunch of lists and finally configured my 
Mozilla Mail's filters. Took me a grand total of five minutes.

The traffic is hardly a problem since I'm sitting behind a cablemodem 
and would've read the posts on the mailinglists anyway. But thanks for 
the suggestion.
