Failed to find a suitable visual

Since the patch [1] every time I run any larger app I get this in wine 
output:

| fixme:opengl:X11DRV_setup_opengl_visual Failed to find a suitable visual

Does this mean some misconfiguration on my box?  
How can it be described in simpler words?
