We should still be reserving the high memory area, so it shouldn't make any difference WRT ulimits. Something else must be going on here.
Umm, I actually commented out this reservation in our RPMs *whistle innocently* :) If I add it back in the original behaviour (out of memory) is still there with or without my patch. Again I am out of ideas, short of writing WINEs own virtual memory manager. Ciao, Marcus
