Could you submit a bug report in Bugzilla for this or
attach to the existing one, so your information won't
be lost.
Can you relicense it under LGPL?
I personally do not see big problem in notepad/wordpad
being under GPL If you can't/don't want to change
license. It is just convenient to have everything
under the same license.
