I'm sure you've noticed that this change causes some failures on a Simplified
Chinese-language test machine, see

Can you take a look at that please?
I'm wondering if it wouldn't make more sense to use GetCharABCWidthsW instead
of the Ansi version for this test?

I guess those failures are caused by font association. Tests succeed
on japanese environment.
Font association is this bug.
