To a question by me, I might add :-)

Already done via private email. Here's what I wrote: --snip-- Sage Line 50 already has a bug filed: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2956 but we're hampered because there's no free demo for us to test. I filed bugs for the two little apps, http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7803 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7804 and will test more of the apps later. Photoshop will probably be in good shape in six months. Illustrator is further off; see http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iAppId=20 --snip-- I guess I should have made that a blog comment. Oh, well. I have added his migration project as a row in http://wiki.winehq.org/DesktopMigrationProjects - Dan

You could register for a free trial cd? http://www.sage.co.uk/considering/TryNow.aspx?tid=213114
D'oh. Missed that. Yeah, I'll register for one, thanks. Unless someone else would like to take the lead on testing it... - Dan
Interesting that they say that about SAGE software considering Peachtree Accounting 2006 works in some respects (installs and basic operations work, some other things cause crashes). I wouldn't say it would NEVER work. I guess it's not the same program series but I'm optimistic. A list of what does and doesn't work is here: http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=6037 I guess when I have some time I'll try and and log some bugs on it. Sadly, only UK residents can get the free trial. Can someone in the UK get a copy and send it to me (and/or test themselves)? Thanks, Dan

I've ordered a trial CD of everything they're offering. -- Rob Shearman
