Font mapping with wine 20040615

Hi,

I sent this email a week or so ago to wine-users, but got no replies
so far. As this possibly requires some deeper knowledge of wine,
I'm reposting it here in the hope that some developer will be able
to give me some hints. So here it goes:

As font aliases as described in the documentation on http://www.winehq.com/
don't work anymore (which seems to be intended as I heard on #winehq),
I'm looking for a way to influence the mapping from windows font requests
to "Linux fonts" (i.e. X11/FreeType).

I'm using the version packaged in Debian testing, 20040615.

Any hints?
