Bad icon drawing under native comctl32

Any ideas?

I'll try and get together a reasoanbly sized test case.

When our application runs using the native comctl32 the icons in the
SysListview32 are displayed with random black pixels in the background.  The
pattern varies between icons and between runs of the application.
