Might it be worth checking to see what's returned from NtQueryInformationThread after trying to set extraneous mask bits? Also, the tests that currently fail under Wine should be marked with todo_wine until a proper fix is made, and such a fix would remove the rodo_wines (unless the tests are part of a series that come after the fix).

Ah, great. Didn't know there already were some tests. I expected to find tests for thread.c in tests/thread.c. Thanks very much. This patch is obsolete then. Forgot to sign it off anyway :)
