It'd be nice to follow up on this. Currently, our GdipGetFontCollectionFamilyList clones all the families, which would be leaking them. We can't check whether they're being freed, but we can check whether calling the function multiple times gives us the same pointer.

Is it different for private collections, like in this case? Because if the family is freed in the patch I send, then calling GdipDeletePrivateFontCollection crashes. Regards, Fabian Maurer

No, because later in gdi32/freetye.c/freetype_SelectFont: "strcmpiW(face->FullName, FaceName)" where "LOGFONTW lf;" and "LPWSTR FaceName = lf.lfFaceName;" So it's actually limited by LF_FACESIZE. Regards, Fabian Maurer
Investigated the issue a bit further, you're right that the face->FullName shouldn't be that short. We sometimes need a full face name and sometimes a short face name from it. To work around the issue, in my latest patch the string is not truncated, but when it's compared against, we limit the number of characters to be compared. Regards, Fabian Maurer
