Ignition app (GPL source) dosnt work

The app called Ignition does runtime patching and dll loading into
another process space.
It currently fails silently, without both the app and wine reporting any errors.
Its source code (GPL) is availiable for download here:

Is it some known issue? if so, what needs to be done to make it work?
