Hello! So all the way back at wineconf I volunteered to be swag master for winehq. The idea is to have something that can be given away at trade shows, presentations, LUG visits and the like. Just something to help promote the visibility of the project. I might as well add a "me too". I'm hardly a marketing expert, but if this is intended for conferences and the like I think there's something to be said for keeping the imaging consistent. Of course I also remember the old logo and website fondly (https://web.archive.org/web/20080621094805/http://www.winehq.org/ for those too young to remember :D), and well, "flat" is modern again.

Then please leave that as an 'Other' option. I directed Jana to explore things other than the logo and maybe she should have done up one that was just the logo. But I though it would be fun to have a sticker with another graphic. -aric

On a slightly more serious note though, I think an argument could certainly be made that it's about time for a refresh of the logo and the website design. I.e., I think the stickers should be consistent with the project logo (although not necessarily exactly the same), but that could also mean updating the project logo to be consistent with the sticker design.
Hello Everyone! Long time not update. Been a busy, busy time but Jana and I have had a chance to circle back to the swag with the goal of having a stack ready for WineConf. The poll concluded with the sideways bottle, Though some of the suggestions where good so we made a few tweaks and attached is the sticker we have come up with. We are looking into the best way to produce the sticker and it is all very excited. The idea is that we want people who go to events, talks, trade shows or anywhere promoting WINE to be able to have a stack of these to give away to help promote the project. We don't have a good distribution plan yet other than a box of stickers in my office and people e-mailing me when they need a supply. That does involve ongoing shipping costs that will have to be covered. If we have a volunteer in Europe to also have a stash then that would likely be a better plan for European people. That's great looking! I made myself a sweatshirt a while back with the existing logo on the back and the address of the winehq git repository on the front, and I thought it came out well.
