can not run IE and it's derived app

dear sir/madam:
   i use wine with redhat linux 7.2 and enjoyed it
very much. however, i encountered a problem that may
need your help:
   i have project built with VC++ 6.0. it included
CHtmlView/microsoft web browser control. it turned out
that they could not be created when the program
started. but i link MFC staticlly; at least the
CHtmlView shouldn't cause trouble.  please give me
some advice.
