I´m writing my thesis on importing german wine to Canada and need to go over the demand part too of course. Would be great if you could help me. Well, my cousin Pat is German, and makes rather nice wine... Mind you, it is an Italian vinyard, despite the part-German name (Spiegelberg - nothing to do with the film producer of similar name) :-/ James.

Well in any case I've heard the beer is very good :-). One of these days I'll have to plan a trip out there agan and find out for myself. Now I could definitely say there would be a market for good german beer in america. Assuming you could make enough of it and transport it over here without screwing up the taste. -Dave
