Eorr message when using winedump

Hello 
 
I got error message as following when I try to use winedump to build a winelib described as "generating stub DLLs",
I follow the instructions provided by winedump/README:
 
./pingdll_install <wine-path>
cd <wine-path>
autoconf
./configure
make depend && make
make install
 
It shows Ok until make depend && make, I got these error message:
 
pingdll.dll.so \
 
make[1]: pingdll.dll.so Command not found
make[1]: *** [all] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/lechun/wine-20030618/dlls'
make: *** [dlls] Error 2
 
Could anyone give me some hints to fix it?

p.s I used Redhat 9.0, wine-20030618.
