Ubuntu community process for 32-bit compatibility

Hi all,

Ubuntu is starting to plan how to support 32-bit till 20.04.
They included the Debian packages wine and wine-development and their
(build)dependencies.  So the worst should be handled for this time.

I suggest to take a look at their list and chime in if something, e.g.
for staging, is missing.

I still wonder what they'll be doing after 20.04.

I have started a thread on the Ubuntu Discourse with a proposed set of
packages to commit to support on 32-bit x86 through Ubuntu 20.04, based
on an analysis of the software identified in previous discussions around
this topic.

Please review to make sure any libraries you require in support of
32-bit applications are included in this list.  If you have a
requirement for a package not in this list, please follow up on the
