This fails the tests:
convert.c:1926: Test failed: got 2

I suspect you want to use SysStringLen(b) as the wstr len in
the calls to WideCharToMultiByte.

It would also be worth adding a test for DBTYPE_STR | DBTYPE_BYREF in
this case too.
