There's no good reason to do this manually when git can do it
automatically. If you see a problem with sorting, file a bug upstream with
git.

The lack of replies to this topic (that you've repeatedly sent, on
different threads) should indicate that the patch was intentional and won't
reverted.

names and patch writers started.
