Unicode defines a character known as BOM, that identifies a file as a 
UNICODE encoded file. Though this file should probably not be printed, 
if sent as the first char to DrawText or ExtTextOut windows ignores it. 
Wine doesn't.

I'll probably post a fix to that as part of the other stuff.
