Perfect graphics?

Can anybody explain what this option does? I'm trying to solve a bug
where a BitBlt and a PatBlt seem to race each other for control of the
screen, and am wondering if this might affect timing.

To answer my own question, it seems this option controls the use of
quick and dirty optimized raster ops.
