Agent and threads

Hi,

Agent news/email client spawns a new thread for each news/mail retrieval
command. Something in the last week causes these threads not to be
waited upon, leaving hundreds of <defunct> wine processes lying around.

I wonder if this is a known issue with the new thread implementation
work in progress, or if it is worth investigating?
