Where to deal with CRLF in Files retrieved with HTTP

Hallo,

Xilinx ISE 6.1 webupdate retrieves files per http. These files are CRLF
terminated and some of their contend is treated as strings as target for the
next HTTP request. This leads to a request like
0014:Call wininet.HttpOpenRequestA(42f6eeb0,1002a268 "GET",
	  438e17be "/direct/swhelp/series6/6.1i_latestservicepack.dat\r",...
                                                                     ^^
The \r at the end of the string results in the file not found on the
server. Running with native wininet results in the same error.

Who is responsible for stripping the \r?
