[PATCH 0/1] MR10108: ntdll: Never use CLOCK_REALTIME_COARSE.

This is required for deterministic timekeeping, as the CLOCK_REALTIME_COARSE path depends on the scheduling tickrate (CONFIG_HZ) the kernel was built with. Increasing the kernel tickrate to 1000 or greater will then result in decreased accuracy for anything calling NtQuerySystemTime, which some anti-cheat/DRM schemes are unhappy about (see wine bug). Being in the vDSO, clock_gettime(CLOCK_REALTIME) should not meaningfully impact performance when compared to CLOCK_REALTIME_COARSE. Furthermore, the CLOCK_REALTIME_COARSE code path is completely untested in CI, because the current CI runners are configured with CONFIG_HZ < 1000. The patch looks good to me. The alloca use seems reasonable, I'm not sure if it's possible to implement it correctly without the function. We usually don't add bug number in commit title. I believe this should fix the winmm:mci occasional failure. The issue comes from the client surface being added to the surface list while it's not yet fully created and more precisely before its X11 client window has been created yet. This can happen in a rendering thread, and the window itself might be moved, resized or more specifically reparented from its owner thread at the same time. This causes all of the window client surfaces to be updated, which causes an XComposite redirect request to be sent without the X11 window yet associated with the surface. Later, when another XComposite unredirect request is sent with the X11 client window this time, it triggers an X11 error as the window has never been redirected. -- https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/10106
