I think the per device setting is okay, but like you said, the best way would be not to touch autocenter at all by default. Maaaaaybe I can get FFB linux work finished this year so we could have proper device control, but this will require some effort from driver maintainera as well. -- https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/8605#note_111285
