That is, the developers just tested on wheels where the default was off and never noticed they should really be setting `DIPROPAUTOCENTER_OFF` to ensure this. I'll have to test again. Maybe they are actually chcecking if a device even supports autocenter and only disable it it if the support is there. Hard to say without having another device to test with.
