Fwiw this is interesting but I think we will need to write tests to make sure this is implemented correctly. Pointer and touchscreens are rather uncommon and it makes it difficult to even manually test things, but dinput tests now should have all the necessary infrastructure to create virtual HID devices that can be used to test the user32 APIs.
