This seems weird though, because we don't have true per-monitor DPI support. Shouldn't system DPI awareness enough to get rid of scaling, since we only have only one DPI setting (in winecfg)? This sounds like a bug to me unless I've missed something.
Yes there was indeed a bug, thanks for pointing that out. It should be fixed now and system DPI awareness is enough to avoid the DPI scaling for now. -- https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/6396#note_80723
