That's exactly the kind of explanation I'm looking for, although I'm afraid I don't understand it here, since heap_allocate_block_lfh() doesn't seem to read the compatibility flags anywhere? Even if it doesn't, LFH blocks are only supposed to be allocated on a LFH enabled heap.
