The following in _user.reg_ is an example of overriding the default for the Sidewinder 2 for all applications
```
[Software\\Wine\\DirectInput\\Autocenter]
"Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick"="off"
```
or just for _foo.exe_
```
[Software\\Wine\\AppDefaults\\foo.exe\\DirectInput\\Autocenter]
