Weather in Reading

This is mostly for my benefit, but my reading
of the weather forecast says that it's going to
be 'sunny intervals' and temp from 12 C at night
to 22 C during the day.

(In *real* English, that would seem to be
'Partly Cloudy, with temps from the 40s at night
into the upper 60s/low 70s during the day' <evil American grin>).

And isn't the stereotype that we should expect it to rain
all the time?
