http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59547 Bug ID: 59547 Summary: Using popup/drop down menus crashes program (unimplemented function) Product: Wine Version: 11.5 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: user32 Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: d.astra@yopmail.com Distribution: --- Created attachment 80596 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=80596 Backtrace from opening an option menu in CorelDraw As stated: Programs like CorelDraw (tested with 8, X4, 2019 and 2025) and Adobe Illustrator (2026) instantly crash when opening a drop down or popup menu. I also noted a black square, which always appears in the upper left corner right at the crash, very likely the not rendered and correctly positioned menu. Cause as stated in the crash dump: unimplemented function USER32.dll.CalculatePopupWindowPosition I elevated the severity to this problem to major because you basically need drop down or popup menus to properly work with these programs. From changing your shape tool to converting objects or using colour correction; everything is done through these type of menus. I also fear this is a more general problem which affects many more programs. Backtrace attached. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
