[Bug 35991] Communication via COM1 crashes the app

Hi, and thanks for the quick response!

The PLC if manufactured by Fatek, the model is FBs14(MAR2).

The program name is WinProladder.

Sorry for not filling that up, I submitted the app to the AppDB and wanted to
link it but it will take some time until confirmed.

It does look so… do you think it will pose any issue? The apps looks very
usable…
