When starting a notepad like below, to get the window with the required window title like described in https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34178#c5 before starting the installer, I did not receive the crash, and the installer seems to finish successfuly. touch '/tmp/MiKTeX Setup Installer Worksaround.txt' wine notepad 'z:\tmp\MiKTeX Setup Installer Worksaround.txt' & wine 'c:\org.miktex.MiKTeX-2.9.5105-org.miktex.MiKTeX-2.9.5105.exe' Therefor fixing the comctl32 issue should avoid the crash too. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
