Please note that this is NOT Corel Draw X3. I installed in a clean wineprefix and set winecfg to Windows 3.1 (which is recommended on the CD). Unfortunately the installer (setup.exe) doesn't start up and gives a fatal error. The backtrace might give some clues as to what goes wrong. Can you also confirm this? Test was performed on 32bit prefix. CorelDraw installer starts and runs OK but it seems to freeze at end when it is trying to register true type fonts. I cancelled installer and tried to start CoreDraw. There was error message about missing DrawDir on win.ini. I added following lines to win.ini: [CorelDraw3] DrawDir=c:\CORELDRW\DRAW After this addtion CorelDraw strated.
