Wine 11.5 - Download link is "updater" only. To use it for a full installatioon you need to create "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Canon\EOS Utility" key as described in https://gist.github.com/YoSoyPhil/58416dfbab8c604ed2059cd5c2469812 otherwise installer won't start - Afterwards, installer "stop" complaining about lack of administrator privilege
Before this step, no similar problem found, maybe happening later in the problem ? Please add details
Same for me now, I tested with Wine 11.6. I created the "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Canon\EOS Utility" key and tried to start the updater, but it stops saying it lacks privileges. I don't have the original exe file anymore. I can't find the full version for my camera (Canon EOS 700D) on official Canon website.
