The installer chokes in missing wminet_utils.dll. After installing dotnet48, which provides this dll, it keeps asking to connect a camera, but I don't have one either. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59223 --- Comment #5 from Baron Von J <service-wineforum@lopht.net> --- Hi all, Original forum poster here. I've installed winetrick and run 'winetrick dotnet48'. While I didn't save the console log from that, the two installer GUIs that were launched both seemed to complete successfully. Rerunning the PMH installer after that, I receive a different error message now, about incorrect Windows version. I've attached the console log and a screenshot. I haven't done anything with setting up prefixes or attempting to use an existing Windows install on another disk/partition or anything like that. I'm not sure which commands I should be using sudo for and which I should run as my own user. So .. happy to provide as much feedback as I can but do treat me like a complete noob at using wine. :) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
