[Bug 58520] New: The rejected operating system has been deleted
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58520 Bug ID: 58520 Summary: The rejected operating system has been deleted Product: WineHQ Apps Database Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download, source Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: appdb-unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: imwellcushtymelike(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- If a user submits a new distribution/OS via the test results form, and you accept the test results, the distribution is deleted anyway. My guess is this also deletes the test results but it happened too fast to be sure. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58520 --- Comment #1 from Rosanne DiMesio <dimesio@earthlink.net> --- This seems to be fixed. I just accepted a new app entry (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=43105) that also added a new distro (Devuan GNU/Linux 6 (excalibur)), and the distro was added to the operating system list. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Don't know when this was fixed. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58520 Ken Sharp <imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|FIXED |--- --- Comment #3 from Ken Sharp <imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com> --- And then I discovered... https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?bIsQueue=false&bIsRejected=false&... Should be Linux Mint though I cannot remember what version. I went in to edit https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=43122 and Linux Mint 22.3 is selected. I cannot remember if this is correct, but the URL pointed to Id=2057. I had to manually select Linux Mint 22.3 so that I could submit the edit. The URL now points to the correct place (Id=2062), but on submission: "The rejected operating system has been deleted" (or words to that effect). There's something very wrong here. - The submitted OS seems to be rejected, but AppDB says the opposite. - The actual OS in the test result points to a dead URL (maybe the AppDB is falling back to anything it can find so that it's not blank?). - The rejected entry is then deleted when the test results are edited, though this page doesn't have the option to do that, or indeed prevent it. I submitted my own distro "TEST TEST TEST TEST" and there are no issues (that I've found so far). So perhaps there's a permissions issue? To remind me to delete my test spam: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=43122 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
