Can you attach a test program? (preferably with source)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/scrabble Sourcecode is extensive and written in Delphi. For me the following two operations create inconsistent results on Windows and Wine: * SetBkMode(DeviceContext, TRANSPARENT); * ExtTextOut(DeviceContext, X, Y, ETO_OPAQUE, nil, Text, Length(Text), nil); On Windows text is rendered with a transparent background and on Wine text is rendered using an opaque background.
