Curiously I have gone back to Wine 1.1.11 where Bug 19662 should occur but this bug occurs instead. This suggests something has changed in Ubuntu Lucid (or the kernel) that affects this app in Wine. Same effect in Wine 1.1.11, 1.1.42 and 1.2-rc3.
