It affects Wine 1.1.3 and all newer versions. Is there a demo of this game? Well it is, but there are no videos in the demo.

This has regressed in 1.2rc3
The Neverhood will play just fine if sound is muted, but with sound on videos won't play or play extremely slowly and the game uses >90% of the CPU.
Since the game opens with a video, this renders the entire game unplayable.
As this bug may affect other games I think it would be a good idea to take a look at what's happening.
Regressions need to be filed as new bugs, otherwise we would forever be opening old bugs which would be a confusing process.
