I downloaded the demo and it does the same thing. My system: OS: Garuda Linux CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G GPU: Saphire Pulse Radeon 6700XT (AMD) RAM: 16GB @ 3200MHz Wine installed from pacman wine --version wine-10.6 I tested the game on a Windows 10 and works without apparent issues. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I looked into the issue as well and discovered that it stems from Wine's Direct2D implementation. Although the game is still not playable, the "Access Violation" pop-up should not appear.
I applied and compiled the patch in question, now the main window does open, it went into fullscreen, showed the company logo, I can use the toolbar and change to window mode (most options are grey out or do not work) and that's it, it freezes there (either on the logo or on a black screen). If I try to close it, the game's closing confirmation will show up but doesn't work, had to kill process. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
