I am using the Livescribe Echo Desktop (see: http://www.livescribe.com/de/support/echo/setup/) for my Smartpen. I can install this software (with a minor error that the update service can't be installed, but this would be OK) When I try to start the program the startup sound and the GUI appear, but the GUI does not respond and crashes after about 2 minutes, because KDE detects that it is inresponsive. It also gives an error pop-up on a critical error and that the GUI needs to close due to this error. I couldn't reproduce the crash though, the GUI is responsive for me.
