However, with wine-devel 6.2 the game hangs at a black screen instead. (There's no sound, either, and the game does not resume regular operation after the video should have finished playing.) FWIW, wine-staging 6.2 has exactly the same symptoms. wine-stable 6.0 works as expected. See attached terminal output.
