What is your Wine version? Application version and download location? Steps to reproduce?
I’m on wine version 1.7-i386 download SynthFont at http://www.synthfont.com/#SynthFont steps to reproduce 1. load your midi file 2. file -> Set Default Soundfont File 3. browse to the folder where your Soundfont is 4. click on the folder on the left side where the folders are that’s how it happens to me -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Even mimicked OP's strange setup/actions from the video. (folder on Desktop, containing read-only(?!) .SF2 file, doing fake drag'n'drop which obviously can't work etc.) Please retest with more recent Wine, preferably Wine 1.7.54 Also avoid unnecessary clicks/moves in videos when providing instructions for reproducing. Just the minimal amount that is needed. For example you could have used the "builtin" 'SYNTHGMS.SF2' and '33H_R&P.MID' which are present in default install for demonstration.
