Linux kernel (git master, KMS enabled) Debian (unstable/experimental) ATI/AMD Radeon HD 4850 (driven by mesa's Gallium3D r600 driver) wine git master (currently @ e44875b42d8f72c6a0d49f05655489a5b8fb673a) I realize r600g is not feature complete, but I don't think this bug is related to my graphics drivers. Is this a duplicate of bug 24064?
No, I don't believe it is. Disabling GameOverlayRenderer.dll has no effect. Although, perhaps this -is- a graphics drivers issue... Try disabling gameoverlaydll and disabling steam community in-game support from the settings menu. I'm not sure what was fixed, but I'm no longer experiencing crashes at start up.
