The following line in http.c (1776 in 08/24/05 version):

 if(!(hIC->hdr.dwFlags & INTERNET_FLAG_NO_AUTO_REDIRECT) && bSuccess)

Should be:

   if(!(lpwhr->hdr.dwFlags & INTERNET_FLAG_NO_AUTO_REDIRECT) && bSuccess)
