How do I run the game IN the debugger?

When is the next release snapshot of wine coming out?  I'd really rather not
have to maintain two copies of wine on one system...

(Do I have to maintain a separate windows directory for each wine installation,
or can I point them all to just one?)

(Whole reason why I switched from gentoo to Ubuntu...)
