When I click on object - on screen I don't see any changes. When I click on second object - I see this first click, not second. All is with one-click delay. I have this problem with nvidia graphics card. I can't reproduce the mentioned behaviour here. There's definitely some problems flushing, but I don't see lag. I also don't see any difference in behaviour if I remove all the XFlush(), glFlush(), and glXWaitForSbcOML() from presentation, but that just may mean my specs aren't the right sort to reproduce the same condition. I also don't have an NVidia card as mentioned in comment 6.
