Installing the latest windows firefox 3 or 4 with the latest shockwave
player causes firefox to hang.
(Or sometimes show a "bad version" dialog; that's bug 22710.)

This is a dogfood bug, since my family needs the shockwave player for some of
my son's games.

It's probably the same bug as Flash not working in Wine Firefox. It stopped
working as soon as Firefox started using out of process plugins. To verify
that, you may change dom.ipc.plugins.enabled in about:config and restart

That works for me, but maybe that bug is a dup of:
bug 17273 or bug 25358

that's a duplicate of the mentioned bug as one of the last warnings firefox
spits out before freezing for about 45 seconds
